Take a break and recharge your batteries for the workdays ahead with relaxation and sauna ceremonies in our saunas, led by sauna master Vojta Drdla. During your wellness visit, you can enjoy the herbal sauna, Finnish sauna, cold plunge pool, relaxation room with a fireplace, and the wellness bar. Sauna ceremonies are included in the wellness package; for an additional fee, you can book a private sauna ceremony every Monday. How does the whisk ceremony take place?

The sauna whisk ceremony is a sauna ritual in which the sauna master uses natural whisks made from tree branches (most commonly birch, oak, eucalyptus, or juniper). The ritual involves gentle, targeted therapy using heat, touch, and scent, accompanied by relaxing music.

How the ceremony takes place

The ceremony takes place individually or in pairs in the presence of a sauna attendant.
In the heated sauna, the sauna attendant works with heat, steam, and the scents of essential oils.
Using heated birch whisks, he or she gently fans, taps, and applies pressure to the body.
The whisks promote blood circulation in the skin, relax the muscles, and open the pores.
